A Home Away From Home

Susan Regan Casper's daughter and legacy Maggie Casper, Delta Beta-Kentucky

I have been a member of Delta Gamma for 38 years after pledging at the University of Georgia. At that time, I was an out of state student from East Lansing, Michigan and I did not know a single person on campus. I was looking for a special place to become my home away from home.

I knew I found my home on Milledge Ave., when I met the girls who wear the anchor! I went on to become a chapter officer and after graduation, even founded the Boca Raton Alumnae Association. I have also been a chapter advisor to Alpha Tau-Butler and various Delta Gamma alumnae organizations. I now live in Carmel, Ind., and have been married for 25 years to my husband, Mike. We have two daughters Kelly (Indiana University, Alpha Delta Pi) and Maggie who is a Delta Gamma at Delta Beta-Kentucky.

Through it all, I have watched many young women (including my own daughter Maggie) become members of Delta Gamma. I decided to plan a future gift to the Foundation because Delta Gamma has been an important part of my life and I would like to help provide opportunities for others to find their home away from home.
